About Mark
Mark C. Bergeron is a partner at PEEPL Law, PLLC and serves as a managing member of the firm. He represents clients in estate planning, probate, elder law, property law, and litigation matters at PEEPL Law's Lakeway, Texas office. Mark also handles tax planning, preparation, and IRS representation, holding active credentials with the Internal Revenue Service for tax practitioner representation.
Mark came to law after thirty years across public accounting, technology, and government relations — a career that built up a working understanding of complex regulatory frameworks, financial systems, and the agencies and institutions that touch families and small businesses. His earlier work included Big4 public accounting with KPMG and PwC, technology architecture and program management at Dell and Bearing Point, and a long run advising technology companies on doing business with Texas state government.
At PEEPL Law, that background shows up in how Mark approaches the work. Estate planning, probate, elder law, property, tax, and litigation are not separate practice silos — they are the questions that come up in sequence when a family is planning ahead or settling things up. Mark also holds active IRS credentials to represent clients directly before the Service, which means tax questions get handled in-house rather than referred out.
Clients can expect plain language, honest assessments, and a lawyer who returns calls.

Mark and his wife Sara live in the Lake Travis area with a blended family of seven children, six dogs, and zero cats. They are members of Austin Ridge Church. A Baton Rouge native with early-career stints in Silicon Valley, Rotterdam, and London, Mark settled in the Austin area more than twenty years ago. Outside the office, he plays tennis and golf, keeps up a long-standing interest in Jazz piano dating back to a Louisiana performing arts program, and follows public-policy work around child welfare and family support.
